  • Mason Tan

    Director, Impact Investments, Providentia Wealth Advisory Ltd


    Mason joined Providentia Wealth Advisory in 2021 and leads the impact investment practice as director of our Garden Impact Fund (GIF). He is a pioneer in the field of social impact investing and brings with him more than 25 years of professional working experience, including 7 years in direct social impact investing. Mason’s global working experience includes senior positions in the public accounting financial brokerage sector, master franchiser and operator of a US food and beverage chain, CFO at an internet venture and investor relations for a NYSE-listed company.

    Prior to joining Providentia Wealth Advisory, Mason co-founded Garden Impact Investments Pte Ltd in 2013, an investment holding company dedicated to help enterprises and disadvantaged communities in Southeast Asia through impact investing.

    Mason co-founded Transformational Business Network Asia (TBN Asia), a non-profit movement that promotes fighting poverty through business enterprises solutions in South-East Asia.

  • Benjamin Lee

    Managing Director, Providentia Wealth Advisory Ltd


    Benjamin leads Providentia Wealth Advisory Ltd in its strategic development and provides executive direction to the fund management and investment advisory business lines. He is a founding member of Providentia Wealth Singapore and is instrumental to the organization’s business development activities and executive management.

    Benjamin has spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, starting out as a trust officer with HSBC Trustee Singapore. He then spent several years in Institutional Equity Sales with RHB Securities, a regional stockbroking group, before rejoining the trust and wealth management industry with SG Trust Asia Ltd (SGTA) in 2001. At SGTA, his responsibilities included trust marketing and client relationship management. He later became a Team Head with Société Générale Private Banking Asia.

    Benjamin graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Philosophy in 1993. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and serves as board member of charities, including National Kidney Foundation Singapore.

  • Luke Peng

    Founder & CEO, Providentia Wealth Singapore


    Luke is the founding CEO of Providentia Wealth Singapore (formerly known as CBP Quilvest Singapore) and provides the direction and leadership to the team. He has over 30 years of professional trust and legal experience.

    In 2000, prior to Providentia, Luke was tasked with setting up a Singapore-based trust company for a French bank and was subsequently appointed its Director and CEO, with the goal of expanding the bank’s global trust and wealth planning business into new markets in Asia-Pacific. He spent his earlier career in two other leading Europeans banks; developing and managing the Asian trust operations and was also in legal practice specializing in corporate and trust law.

    Luke is a lawyer by training and was called to the English (1988) and Singapore (1989) bar. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a founding committee member of the Singapore Trust Association (STA).

  • Carmen Chiang

    Executive Director, Head of Client Xperience, Providentia Wealth Management Ltd


    Carmen leads the Client Xperience team and oversees the on-going administration and accounting of all client-related structures. She is also responsible for assisting clients from Europe, Asia and Latin America with private and corporate trust structuring as well as family advisory services.

    Prior to joining the organization in 2011, Carmen was a wealth planner at a global trust company, assisting high net worth clients from Europe and Asia with their personal and as corporate needs, and specializing in trusts for pre-IPO situations. Carmen also worked for global accounting firms Andersen and Ernst & Young and has more than 7 years of experience in both personal and corporate taxation. Her tax compliance and advisory portfolio of clients comprised private clients as well as large MNCs.

    Carmen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University with a minor in Business Law. She has been involved in consultations initiated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore relating to tax and trust regulations in Singapore.

  • Dato Kim Tan

    Chairman of Investment Committee


    Kim Tan is the chairman of SpringHill Management, a private fund management company specialising in biotech and social venture capital investments. He is a partner of a number of impact funds including Inqo Investments (SA), Novastar Ventures (Kenya), Springhill Equity Partners (US) and Garden Impact Investment (Singapore). He is the co-founder of the Transformational Business Network and is a trustee of the John Templeton Foundation, Templeton Religion Trust and the Centre for Enterprise, Markets & Ethics (Oxford), and an advisor to Johnson & Johnson Impact Ventures.

    He was the founder chairman of the NCI Cancer Hospital (Malaysia), and former board member of the Saracens Rugby Club (UK) and the APEC Life Science Innovation Forum. He is a Pro-Chancellor of the University of Surrey (UK), the inventor of sheep monoclonal antibodies and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK). He co-authored ‘Fighting Poverty through Enterprise’ and ‘Social Impact Investing: New agenda in fighting poverty’ with Lord Brian Griffiths.
